Small swaps. Bigger stories.

Start with a little.
Trade up to more.

Turn one small item into something bigger through a public chain of swaps. Each trade adds a chapter. Follow the story to see what it becomes next.

Meet in a public place. The planned swap record pairs photos with both traders’ confirmations; it does not guarantee identity, item quality, or safety. Read the guidance.

The Trade Up idea

Trade. Upgrade.
Keep it going.

The item changes. The story stays connected. Upchain is being built around public timelines, trade proposals, and follows that bring you back for the next swap.

This site introduces the app direction. Listings, proposals, follows, notifications, and confirmation records are not available on this page yet.

01

Start with something you own

Give an item a starting point with clear photos, an honest description, and the condition details another trader needs.

02

Agree on the next exchange

A trade proposal connects two people. Agree on the items, any faults, and whether you’ll meet or ship before either person commits.

03

Add a chapter worth following

The planned public timeline connects each swap to the last. Photos and confirmation from both traders help document the exchange; followers can keep up with what happens next.

People before progress

A bigger story starts with a thoughtful swap.

Two-party confirmation records an agreement about a swap. It is not an identity check, an inspection, or a safety guarantee. You can pause or walk away at any point.

For meetups

Choose a busy, public place during daylight. Tell someone your plans, bring a friend if possible, and inspect the item before handing yours over. Keep your home address out of public chain posts.

For shipping

Agree on packing, postage, tracking, and what happens if an item is lost or arrives damaged. Keep delivery details private. Photos and tracking do not remove the risk of a remote exchange.

If something feels wrong

Stop the trade. In an emergency, contact local emergency services. In-app user reporting is planned; this page does not provide a reporting service.

  2. 02   Note its condition, including any faults.
